Sanatorium Pronatal
The description of starting sent by the Sanatorium Pronatal was unfortunately completely useless. Except the fact that we knew the direction was unfortunately not so good. After we drove past then several times at the sanatorium and already nearly totally upset wanted to give up, we nevertheless still found it.
The parking possibilities was unfortunately not very much before the house. The lady at the rezeption had already expected us, because she telephoned very hectically with any people. Subsequently, she tried to explain in Czech the way to the doctor to us. That was however a hopeless venture, since we did not understand Czech and neither German nor English spoke it. We were asked to go to a small waiting room, where still different pairs waited. Approx. a half hour after our appointment it was our turn. Doz. Dr. Mardesic asked us into his consulting room. The room is very spartanisch furnished. Nothing reminds in the first instant of a consulting room. Dr. Mardesic spoke into German with us. We were easily confused, when he asked us, why we are here, since we had already clarified by e-mail.. The e-mail correspondence ran by the way without any problems.
He explained us that we can select ourselves the Donator in principle (appearance, hobby, etc.). If the suitable Donator is found (waiting period approx. 6 months) becomes the Donator the Eggcells taken and fertilizes, then the transfer must take place after 48 hours, here absolutely no time window would exist.
All the Donators Eggcells will be fertilized, to be transferred max.3 embryos, the other becomes cryoconservated and to be able for a later transfer.
In the price of 5.900,00 DM the following achievements are contained:
- Eggcells
- Cryoconservation
- ICSI
- Transfer
The transfer of the cryoconservated embryos costs 500,00 DM.
We had the impression that here mainly financially well equipped pairs are gladly seen.
In the process of the discussion we gave to recognize that we visit still several physicians or hospitals around us a reasonable picture to make. The reaction was not unfortunately very positive, that discussion was then very quickly terminated.
