We have currently a very active program that covers patients from Spain,
France and Italy.
Our present pregnancy rate in such cases is very high(69% in the last 6 months)
due to the fact that oocyte donors are young (our IVF success rate in
other cases is lower: 48%) The spanish law clearly specifies all the characteristics
of egg donors and how the process must be done. Receptor
preparation does not involve complicated treatments but you should come
once to our Clinic before the time the embryo would be transfered to understand
the process, to know us and the program, to collect a sperm sample that wil be
used for fertilizing the eggg, and to sign the informed consent in accordance to
the spanish law.
The only limit of our program is tha women should be less than 50 years old (only in very selected cases this internal rule could be changed).
We should know your age and if you are menopausal. In Spain oocyte donation is
anonimous to protect both the donor and the recipient (this can only be
different if an important genetic disease many years after would appear (extremely
low risk)). The delay between enrollement and donation is aprox. 2 months.
