Fertinex

Fertinex is a highly purified, natural urinary-derived prescription medication containing FSH. Fertinex and hCG are given in a sequential manner and typically prescribed by a reproductive endocrinologist for stimulation of follicular recruitment and development or the induction of ovulation in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome and infertility. Fertinex and hCG may also be used to stimulate the development of multiple follicles in ovulatory patients undergoing assisted reproductive technologies such as in vitro fertilization. Fertinex can be administered subcutaneously.
