Follistim

Follistim (follitropin beta for injection) is a pure FSH preparation genetically engineered to provide essential batch-to-batch consistency for the infertility patient. Based on current studies, infertility patients using Follistim can count on predictable and effective levels of FSH activity while using less total drug than with older urinary-based gonadotropins. Follistim is packaged in a vial (no glass amps to break) and can be administered subcutaneously or intramuscularly (deep within the muscle).
