Profasi

Profasi (human chorionic gonadotropin) is indicated for ovulation induction and pregnancy in the anovulatory, infertile women when the cause of anovulation is secondary and not due to primary ovarian failure, and who has been appropriately pretreated with gonadotropins. Profasi is administered intramuscularly. In men, injections of Profasi enhance the production of testosterone, a hormone essential to sperm production.
