- Hypophysis
- Hypothalamus
- Suprarenal body crust

- Sex glands

In the following we specified some hormones, which play a role in connection with child desire and pregnancy.

FSH (follicle-stimulating hormone): it is formed in the hypophysis front rag. FSH promotes the seed formation with the men in the seed channels of the testicles. With the women it moves the growth of a follicle on (rarely of two or several). A condition is that the egg in the follicle concerned achieved its final size and the first maturing hurrying took place.

GnRH (Gonadotropin Releasing hormone): causes the release of Gonadotropin.

Gonadotropin (FSH + LH): at high Gonadotropinconcentrations can at the same time take place also two or more follicle jumps.

hCG (human Chorionic Gonadotropin): it is formed in the cells (Chorion) of the embryo. It keeps the yellow body and its hormone production upright until the Plazenta can take over the Progesteron and Östrogenbildung.
The hCG proof in the urine or blood is the best pregnancy test.

LH (Luteotropes hormone / Lutenisierendes hormone): it is formed in the hypophysis front rag. With the men it energizes the " interstitial Leydig cells " to the Testosteronbildung, which promotes the seed maturing. With women it releases the follicle maturing and the ovulate, in addition it is responsible for the formation of Progesteron.

LTH (Luteotropes hormone / Laktotropes hormone): affects the milk glands

Östrogen: it is formed in the ovaries. It regulates the increase of the FSH and LH secretion as well as the inhibition of GnRH (Gonadotropin Releasing hormone).

Progesteron (yellow body hormone): It leads to a grow of the mucous membrane to the preparation on possible pregnancy.

Testosteron: it is formed in the intermediate cells of the testicles.
Effect:
- sex differentiation in the embryo stadium
- sex maturing in puberty
- influence on growth
- seed formation
- training of the sex characteristics

A Testosteronlack leads to a disturbance of the seed formation up to infertility.
